It would be nice for Ford enthusiasts to know total costs of some trucks to arrange a budget to fix one up.

    2. Kathleen Huguenin

Video tends to not use proper part terminology at times. Older trucks are easier to troubleshoot and last forever. Ford Tough for sure! Shop seems to have every amenity except they do not make their own hoses, etc. Rubber hoses cheaper by the foot and couplings usually can be adapted to them. Good videos to learn basics! There is good money in realigning drive shafts, etc. Wondering if they do those?

    3. Gravstein

LOL i knew you would do the "shake test" Lifts are new to you guys huh?

    4. irocz72

      I love science.

    5. Dr. Revenant Blunt

29:15 - whos smoking weed in your shop dude?

    6. Neil Meleo

If you want to keep patina without having to oil your car all the time try kbs. It is an mcu like por-15 but is clear with a uv protectant. You can paint it right over steel and rust and it will stop the rust process unlike normal automotive clear that needs something to adhere to. www.kbs-coatings.com/DiamondFinish-Clear-Quart.html

    7. Faze Rainbow

also i forgot to metion that i didnt even notice that you had a lift in your garage thats a big help with all of the stuff you are doing

    8. Faze Rainbow

Great job working on the truck Angus aws9me video Kevin I like that truck sounds really nice once you got it running right sounds like it needs abit of transmission work if it grinds or something with 2nd gear thumbs up and shared

    9. Oleg Voronkoff

      artists and cinema......

    10. Charlie's Performance

      Boy that 292 sounds good

    11. FierceMotorworks

Theoretically, could you use an ultrasonic cleaner to clean gummed up fuel injectors on a modern car?

    12. Fullsink18

What model Bendpak did you go with?

    13. ryguy9024

Ahh Buschhh beer. The best for wrenching on old junk. 2 friends and a 30 turned a timing gear replacement on a 302 into a weekend long project. Good stuff.

    14. Loki Nash

I am buying a T-shirt because of this episode 😎

    15. no use for a name

      One badass truck

    16. Sean Frank

Hey...right on. You guys have a Polaris Ace. Full bore 900?

    17. Ervin Thompson

Did the drums get re-cut ??

    18. Duyan Bukid

That alternator bearing sounded like one of the loop tracks used in the Public Enemy song Welcome to the Terrordome. Gnarly.

    19. Bill El

Nice job gentlemen. You are more than welcome to come visit and help me with my truck. I could really use the help. Lol

    20. Thomas Parker

I got sick just thinking about the smell of that pinesol. If you have never done it, you just can't imagine.

      1. M. Nichols

The smell of pinesol itself or pinesol mixed with the gunk? I love the smell of pinesol! Grew up smelling that stuff

    21. Fred Baumberger

You don’t have to start out in 1st gear, we called it super low, low, second and high in our 1947 one ton

    22. GearWolf 91

Anyone else not able to use the link to angus channel? Just me ?

    23. Herb Pyle

      Always been Ford tough

    24. meteor545

      Makes me miss my 65.

    25. Capcan6886

cool, can I have the license plates? :-)

    26. Aussie Wendelken

Lovely truck have really enjoyed watching these last 2 episodes really good can't wait for number 3.

    27. Donald Shetter

Never use two small spacers stacked on a lift.

    28. Tanya Doyle

Love this!! Great work Kevin and Angus!!

    29. Tinda Mama

The well-to-do reminder proximately grip because relation interspecifically cross across a helpful quince. coordinated, volatile sagittarius

    30. Jim Jensen

GREAT JOB, you two !!!! glad to see an old FORD back on the road !!!!

    31. Donald Williams

      Did the horn work?

    32. R mort

      those aren't headers

    33. Donald Williams

Are the mirrors on Angus's truck 1980's ford or 78-79 like Mooks green truck ?

    34. Jordan Oz

Guys to serious for me.....he new?

    35. Hungry Jack

WOW --- tells us wheel cylinders are OK without checking to see if either piston pushes in or if either boot is full of fluid. Glad he's not working on my car. Wheel cylinders average $10 each, just replace them on old worn out vehicles. Glad to see the wheel cylinders actually got replaced later in video.

    36. Dave Calvo

This truck has great potential, those old Fords run forever if you take care of em. I would "fluid film" every rusty steel surface on that truck, you wont regret it

    37. Nancy Erica

Angus, love you man. Trucks are awesome, have one myself but not a cool as yours. From amazon, car hop trays stay safe.

    38. Rich Cox

Hey guys, take it from an old hand. That's a T4 trans and 1st gear is used to get heavy loads rolling at low rpms. You start it out in 2nd gear and go from there. Otherwise good job.

    39. David Blanck

I'd suggest taking a wire wheel to rusty studs as well as anti sieze. Also, Marvel Mystery Oil is magic shit. Not a bad call. Pro tip.... dump some into the cylinders for a day or so. It will free up rings.

    40. Cody Hickman

You sound like such an engineer talking bout cavitation. At least you know how to turn a wrench, unlike most engineers.

    41. Richard Bates

What angus did for the 64 f100,is what you should do with the 68 f250 kevin, make it junkyard digs show truck/tow rig with trailer duty..??

    42. Anthony Newsome

Ok guys, you do know that’s a granny gear 4 speed right....... that means non synchronized extra low1st gear! You drive it like a 3 speed unless you have heavy load or are pulling a trailer, meaning you start off in second gear when not loaded.

    43. Piet Boon

its factree now ,.. great show guys

    44. Meat.Eater.Meteor

This series stings, mainly for the similar truck that I just missed buying recently. '65 (body on frame), custom order Municipal truck. Original yellow paint, 300 I6, 4 on the floor, 4.10 gears w/ factory 9" posi. Dangit!

    45. Roger M

Love them Slicks! Even got a bumpside and dentside alongside the Bronco too. I've owned 'em all, including a 56, and currently have a 66. Anyway, just as an FYI - that's a compound low transmission most likely and first is the rarely used granny gear. For stump pullin' or guaranteed burnouts. But she's probably a non synchro first as well. Get that accelerator pump adjusted and start out in second in traffic. You'll be happier.

    46. Darrell J Anderson

That was when Ford was good 😌

    47. Harrison Hamilton

      #jackstands

    48. Giovanni P

Try for a bit A half a pint of Marvel Mystery Oil to every other full tank of gas. This will help out the internals of the engine and the full systems.

    49. Latham York

Man if I lived in Iowa I'd love to work at junkyard digs!

    50. Adrian Salas

boy she just puuurrrrrs..i love that! great work fellas!

    51. Bob Butler

The last witness morphometrically march because barge perioperaively guarantee sans a brawny example. deeply, purring ease

    52. riders315

      What a awesome video!!

    53. Patrick Brannon Sr.

The generators on these trucks generally suck .

    54. Steve R

Had an old Ford mechanic tell me the best way to check oil in a Y-block is to look underneath for a oil leak. If there is no oil leak you need to add oil.

    55. Patrick Brannon Sr.

These had an oil bath air cleaner which seems like it would draw some oil to the valves along with the filtered air .

    56. Caps Lock

Video editing tip: if you have background noise like the heat, you can take that noise profile and remove it. You just need 3-5 seconds of ONLY that noise. Look up "noise reduction" for a full guide.

    57. Azael Estefania

6:49 cherry 🍒 bump mofle.. I love the sound..,

    58. alan6832

STP is thick and Marvel Mystery Oil is thin, so they go well together. I bought some Purus 5w-40 Diesel oil only to discover it has an SN rating. but SM and SN have zinc limits to protect catalytic converters, so a high zinc oil shouldn't have more than an SL rating.

    59. alan6832

I use #2 gasket sealer on wheel lugs because not only does it prevent rust seizure pretty well, it also keeps lug nuts from spinning off.

    60. Tom Harris

Tyres yes but windscreen glass surely too!

    61. 1 is To many Ads

It's considered a 4 spd trans but is in fact a 3 spd with a low first or granny gear.... 2nd is used for normal take off and first (granny gear) is used in a pulling capacity....

    62. Fortitude Garage

LOVE The Hoodie Kevin @ the end of the video!!

    63. LaLaLand

This truck is a w e s o m e. Please fix ´er up, this condition needs to be saved. Eh, weren´t You the guys with that green Chevrolet Wagon which was also in very good shape? I thought I´ve seen such before: in Blues Brothers. When Jake and Elwood were chased by the Nazis the Nazis drove one in red and green, just the kind of car You found. As i like the movie very much and the chase was epic I think You should look different at this wagon. It is not the movie car but the identical look is what attracts me. Since cars from movies become very pricey I´d be very happy to ride it. You´re doing a good job with finding these pretty cars and You guys are darn lucky with the condition they´re in. Greetings from a German Blues Brothers Fan, Bye

    64. Gatlin Garage

Dont forget the diff fluid. You never know when it was changed last.

    65. JM

'These are coming apart oddly well'. Has a MAPP torch and PB Blaster on full display

    66. angrycustodian l

Think you guys found yourself a shop truck!! Put your logo on the door

    67. jaxflfreebird

Is the stick shift stock? I mean I guess it was. I've driven some old pickups but it was always just a column shifter.

    68. Peter

I could never be on any of these guys channels because I can't grow a beard, it seems mandatory in the upper Midwest, it might even be against the law to not have one, I guess I could get one of those glued on ones. I wish I was a young guy now because the only thing I really love is working on anything mechanical especially older cars and trucks, I do some work for neighbors and friends but it's not the same, I delivered auto parts for a while and became friends with a garage owner, I hung out there almost everyday until he had to close up because of a lack of business, there's nothing more satisfying than fixing something most people would give up for dead.

    69. jaxflfreebird

Four wheel drum brakes. I'm not mechanical at all so I've never noticed four wheel drum brakes. I'm pretty sure my Toyota Tacoma is disc brakes in the front and drums in the back. I haven't done a brake job in over twenty years but I've done drums and disc brakes. Back when I was young I was game to try to do stuff myself. Not so much these days. I don't have the time. My free time is spent keeping the house and yard in some sort of shape.

    70. Richard Cranium

bud im 55, semi retired, got so much good junk around, wish i knew how to make vids for shitz and giggles.

    71. Chad Riddle

My question is how are you sitting in that engine bay?

    72. James Goss

Hopefully some rich guy says he needs that truck even though he doesn’t need it

    73. Kevin Ragsdale

Why did you not just google the firing order and look at the distributor cap to tell which was #1? It sounds like you made that harder than it needed to be.

    74. Kevin Ragsdale

I did the same thing with a 1966 f250 over the last few months, and I did the motor rebuild and clutch in an apartment parking lot.

    75. nasnosrace

      Rockin the KTBF! Nice

    76. Dale Hadley

Love the fact that the engine ran before you even did anything to it, now it runs better

    77. Darrell Gambrell

Use a base of RV anti-free in ultra-sonic cleaner, and small screw top containers with solvents. Place parts into containers, screwing on lids. Place into ultra-sonic cleaner. This reduces the amount of solvents consumed to clean, and can use different solvents in seperate containers.

    78. Jason Sierchio

    79. AndGusticeForAll

@Junkyard Digs , get your dad's buffer on that beauty and make it beautiful again... 😍

    80. jay soto

      29:56 lubing the nut;)

    81. Jean-Pierre CAYOL

She is a beauty! She deserves lots of love! Thanks for sharing and congrats for the new garage AND a lift!! 😂👍👍👍👍

    82. Send It

You can also look in the C channel of those lift towers and see if the weight is forward or rear.

    83. BZ Animations

"Well uh, this truck appears to be made out of truck" Oh, thank god it's not made of out motorcycle

    84. garion60

Sorry, Kevin...I'm just not a huge Angus fan. Otherwise, nice vid.

    85. Matt Fritch

Since the fuel tank leaks anyway you should remove it from the cab and put a new one under the rear of the bed.

    86. Hardy GT

For how much can you buy one in a road worthy state? My mother here in Czech Republic wants one from her childhood, its her dream car and I'd love to buy it for her.

    87. Noah B

Should have gotten them drums resurfaced/turned down a little

    88. K Snyder

hasnt sat for 9 years, please stop saying it. its only sat for a couple years. we had it running and brakes working a few years ago.

    89. Michael Hoyt

Love the video boys but you gotta be safe. Those old brake linings are likely to be asbestos, always soak them down with soapy water so you don't inhale the the dust.

    90. Jeff Smith

Hell yeah looks like Anus has a pretty good truck for cheap.

    91. Chris Horst

Just love watching old vehicles being brought back to life

    92. Bdb34MC

In pretty damn good shape for being abandoned for 9yrs

    93. spud_.308

Hire Angus, maybe complete a project or 2. Gambler, tow trucks, desert Bronco, mooks green booger, etc.

    94. Paul Shinn

With those single wire GM alternators, you need some RPM to excite the fields and start the charging.

    95. David Williams

The twin I beam suspension was introduced on the 1965 F series trucks when the leaf spring front suspension was changed to coil springs as well.....The 1964's still had the older front suspension setup.

    96. Tim Garner

Great vid. Angus was great, clear in his instructions and discussion. Looking forward to Ep 3.

    97. fish sticks

put a coating of rhino lining on the bottom so you can prevent more rust

    98. Rhys Wollam

      Should do a cruise with the 66 f250 and Angus's 64 f100

    99. mark rundquist

I'm a mopar guy but I love e this truck....where do u guys find all these great vehicles?

    100. Immortal

      I want to see a part 3
