Make sure to leave your questions for our Post Mortem episode down below!

      1. Gracie

If the keeper didn't report anything weird during those two weeks, I wonder if the principal keeper paid him to not say anything and then murdered the other two. Since he had asked just before arriving at the lighthouse with the others whether they could do an experiment to see how long it would take someone to get there between the thing being reported and them actually investigating. Since it was denied, maybe he opted to just bribe the keeper to keep silent. Since he wanted to know how long it would take for someone to come investigating, maybe he was planning out how long he'd have from the time he'd stop turning on the light (leaving the island) until someone would start looking for him. The journal said he was quiet, so what if he was just nervous about his plans. He could have drugged the other two which made them hallucinate and see the storm. Perhaps he was conducting some sort of experiment, and then killed them and left somehow, maybe by having some sort of accomplice pick him up or something.

      2. Plant

What would you do on a deserted island? What extra person would you bring?

      3. valsol

shane which part of little women (the movie) did u start crying at this is important

      4. Grace Linnea

Which rap song would you rather use against the water sprites, Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice or Fancy by Iggy Azalea?

      5. Yazmine Yacub

whenever i need to do scottish accents i just always say it how i think shrek would say it and i think you guys should try it too!!

    2. J Lange

Sprite is an awfully cute name for murderous, green haired fish dudes.

    3. Mariaj De Guzman

this reminds me of an A24 movie called "The Lighthouse"

    4. emilia d

did anybody else have to read the poem about this for english?

    5. Phina

I think this is my favourite episode of unsolved. LOVE the folklore element!

    6. Proinsias Cassidy

This reminds me, wasn't there a mystery movie like this named Keepers from 2018, with Gerard Butler? With two older lighthouse keepers and one that's younger? I don't wanna spoil it, and I was kinda meh about it myself, but I'm pretty convinced it was based on this story now.

    7. Aliyah Phelps

Shane and Ryan failing at Scottish accents give me a joy no other can lmaooo

    8. Larry Lobster

*Robert Pattinson and Willam Dafoe have entered chat

    9. booitsbella

Rhyming light with sprite was RIGHT THERE shane

    10. Thatguyy

To those who are wondering, 8 pounds back in 1900 is about $1,697.31 CAD in today's money.

    11. Cult Beliefs

To Ryan and shane I present you the mother of all mystery murders. The case would be easiest for you to present as all the related facts are available to you in public Domain (Except who killed them) . Even two movies are made based on the same. Here is a brief description. The Noida double murder case refers to the unsolved murders of 13-year-old girl Aarushi Talwar and 45-year-old Hemraj Banjade, a male live-in domestic worker employed by her family. The two were killed on the night of 15-16 May 2008 at Aarushi's home in Noida, India. The tiny details of the events happened at the night of the murder can give you chills. Hope you give it a try. Big fan of your show.

    17. mauao1

Be great if it wasn’t for the constant ridiculous blabbing by these two.

    18. galkanftw

I would say that because of the date I doubt there was much of a professional investigation. So imo there is simply a lack of information.

    19. Miguel Vargas

The theories in this video are so chaotic I love it haha

    27. Andrew Wilcox

As a Brit the switch in accents between slightly Scottish, Irish, Mancunian, Scouser and London geezer was painful. Still love the videos, but please, on before of the British, don’t try and do our accents again

    28. Existentialismz

I guess it's just the Shane and Ryan show now

Wait isn't this story from Llama arts?

    37. Christine Kissoon

      Its ma Boysss

    38. Allanna

In all honesty, they were 100% swept away by the ocean. This is one of the most remote Scottish islands, in December, with record of stormy weather. Heck, the guy employed to keep an eye on the light from afar probably didn't think much of not being able to see the light for days because IT'S A RURAL SCOTLAND ISLAND IN DECEMBER.

    39. Johan Vajse

took me 3 or 4 times watching, but I finally spotted the mannequin

    40. Amy Megan

any of my fellow Scots up for a visit here.. i never even knew about this place but i really wanna go now

    41. chimmy

If I imagine living in the 1800's I would probably be quick to point all my theories at the supernatural too. Like I don't know much about how the world works and neither does anyone else so, it must be magic? That's why these unsolved cases are weird to us now, because back then, nobody knew what evidence to look for and things just appeared "normal". The only evidence we can base research off of now, is the evidence collected back then. Maybe a big wave did hit the lighthouse but people pushed it under the rug because of insufficient evidence. In the 2000's, people don't really blame aliens or mermaid people on strange occurrences, because we know now what really happens. There's probably a logical explanation, and we just fail to find it.

    42. Joe Barrett

      I’m offended *unsubcribes*

    43. Juliana Ellsworth

I’m pretty sure I played this contract in Wild Hunt...

    44. Aaron Lewis

Maybe the island was a good secluded spot for alien abductions. The twin sheep could actually be clones.

    45. Verify

Joseph Moore was the imposter. Imposters win
